Also on Monday, 18.03.2019, we were called about 4 puppies on a sheepfold on the outskirts of the village.
As you can see in the photo, the poor babies found shelter underneath some timber, by a festered lamb’s corpse… it’s hard to say anything else… There’s simply too many villages with too many unwanted dogs, abused, starved and chased away!
Still, let’s be happy for having rescued 4 more teddy bears, 2 little girls and 2 little boys, each one sweeter than the other. The puppies have been dewormed and disinfested, have started their vaccination scheme and will be prepared for adoption Through our spay and neuter campaign, out goal is to help the community by raising awareness on the importance of sterilisation, both from a legal standpoint and animal health related and actively, through prevention.
Even though our mission is centered around raising awareness and doing prevention, as long as we will find abandoned puppies, we do not have the heart to just leave them there.
